A very unusual subject, sadly the kit is the usual crude Hawk release.

This is the AMT version of the Matchbox kit, a bit plain, but at least the kit is nice.

I think this is the earliest style Airfix bag header, the kit was also released as a slot car.

A extremly rare kit of a very unusual car. Made in the States for the Hino car company of Japan, it never actually raced.

(Kit from Mike Sells)

Mike has kindly explained that boxart changed in the late 70s because US legislation decided that a representative picture of what could be achieved by the average modeler should be shown on the box, rather than some fancyful artwork. In a way it's fair enough, but a shame nonetheless.

The US version of the car above, as for the MG 1100, the American artwork is much more exciting.

This is what Airfix eventually did to the Ford Zodiac kit. I like this car, but sadly, the tooling has probably been modified beyhond use.
