This is the Airfix Ford Cortina released as a slot car and model in the 60s, at a later stage, Airfix decided to customize it, toghether with the Capri and sadly the Zodiac. I bought the kit partly build, and motorised it using the remains of a damaged slot one. This is one of my very early effort, I used wathever I could find, note the horrible Scalextric wheels. In my defence, I will say that at least I retained the working steering, and fitted 4 figures inside. I have since bought another kit, but this is as yet unmade
