This is not
a very difficult car to do, but it requires a fair amount of work. Start with
a scalextric P4, use a recent P&G reissue (the plastic is easier to work
with), glue a lump of balsa wood to the back, sand to shape! Don't forget to
cover the grain, add the wing, reshape the air intakes behind the doors and
there it is: a long tail Ferrari (not many of those about).Eventually, I fitted
Fly wheels to it (what else?) after the photo had been taken. The car has now
been sold to the man who bought the 612 canam shown elsewhere on this site.
I used a book called "All the world 1/43rd Ferraris" as reference.
This car has now been brought back to the UK by Anthony Bartlett, I will ask him to take decent pictures of it
