Quite a
lot of work has gone into this one, even though the basic shape of the
MP4/4 was very similar to the the MP4/5. None of the work is difficult.
Start with a cheap SCX MP4/4 or one of its many variations.
The mods are:
The
air box needs building up with Milliput.
The nose is taller and thinner at the tip, stick some plastic card on
it and sand to shape.
The windscreen is longer and the shape of the cockpit is different.
The side pods are shorter, their leading edge is rounded, and from above
they have a coke bottle shape.
Because of the shorter side pods, the underpan needs modifying (black
area on picture).
Tranfers are from Scale Models.
Get some reference material before starting, it is not too difficult,
have a go.
