When I said it was a simple repaint, I was lying really, the nose of the Scalextric car is poor because it is split horizontaly, leaving a very ugly gap. To fix this, just saw the front of the underpan off and glue it to the body, this allows the gap to be filled properly,  it makes a big difference to the look of the finished car. This one still has its original wheels. This car was re-transfered for the Le Mans display, new picture to follow.
