Ferrari 250 GT SWB, by Joel Thura
This a fibreglass body that I bought many years ago. After my Scarab was extensively damaged in a crash, I decided to race a Ferrari. In order to conform with club rules, the car is fitted with a standard Ninco chassis, a Testa Rossa in this case. It has been painted in Nart colours, as a change from the traditional red. The Scarab, was always quick, but the body was too heavy, this, being a genuine racing shell from the 60s, weighs nothing and is super quick. When I used it at our very last meeting, it won 3 races out of 4.
