This is a modified Scalextric D type, it represents the 1954 Le Mans winner. The nose has been extended, the headrest fairing reshaped and the fin added. I am not totally happy with it, the exhaust is wrong and I much prefer the shape of the Speedking car described elsewhere on this site. |

PS: I think this will be my last D type for a while. (Unless I decide to recast one that is) Well, it wasn't the last one, since I have redone the first one, and started redoing the 2nd one as well.
